St.
Augustine, Florida is one of those towns I find so special
that I keep returning to and each trip saying to myself, “This
is even more special than I remembered it to be.”

There
are at least four B & Bs along the bayfront veteran travelers
will find so breathtaking, intriguing and fascinating they
will have difficulty making a choice. The fact that I could
choose to dine inside with others, choose a table outside,
or eat under the gazebo and enjoy the lovely morning breeze,
and also have an outside entrance into my room made the choice
uncomplicated. It was a “piece of cake.” As a matter of fact,
in addition to the usual deluxe breakfast one finds at upscale
B & Bs, during the day and late into the night, there
are complimentary servings of cake, cookies, beer, wine, coffee,
and soft drinks available! Complimentary newspapers await
every guest in the breakfast area.

We
are talking a B & B that has won the respect of the veteran
B & B travelers! The professionalism of the staff is well
mixed with “old-fashioned kindness and a sincere desire to
please.” This is real “old southern friendliness” at its best.
Each
room is a towering achievement of décor. Every room
is individually decorated in splendid
combinations of antiques and incredible color combinations.
Just
one step from the “no fuss” outside entrance into the world
class décor of your room will remind you of descriptive
words such as, comfy, relaxing, unhurried, serene, and tranquil

The
charming city of St. Augustine
is unforgettable. The pleasing scene of horse-drawn carriages
leisurely showing tourist the picturesque town, the pleasant
smell of the ocean air, the enchanting atmosphere of “the
oldest city,” is just a part of what make this such a delightful
place so many of us fall in love with. It is just the right
touch of old and new combined to be alluring and inviting.
Not to mention, that every thing seems to be “right at your
fingertips” in this city. It is just a short stroll to the
“historic bayfront district” to have some simply divine ice
cream, watch the other tourist, and shop whenever you feel
the desire. You are located right in the heart of great dining.

This
the is gazebo where I had breakfast each morning looking at
the ships and boats in the bay, and enjoyed the morning breeze.
In this picture you can see both the Bayfront Marin and Bayfront
Westcott B & B properties and how they are joined.
The
adjoining property, the Bayfront Westcott house has been voted
St. Augustine 's
Best Bed and Breakfast, is part of the same property and has
similarly appointed rooms and is very exquisite in
every way. The only difference is the inside entrance rooms.
Both B & Bs have double Jacuzzis in most
rooms and several rooms with fireplaces.
All rooms have cable television, telephones, and air conditioning
and luxury terry cloth robes. Robert and Janice Graubard are
the owners of these two inviting properties.
